This project is comprised of 9 apartment blocks and 5 rows of townhouses. The apartment blocks vary from 4 to 5 storeys in height and the townhouses are 3 storeys high. Between the apartment blocks and houses there are communal landscaped areas to facilitate for the occupiers.
The detailed design of the all RC Frames has been undertaken using Tekla Structural Design Software and by using Finite Element Analysis method DMA was able to achieve economic designs across all 5 sites. During the RC Detailing process, further reinforcement savings have been achieved by fully curtailing reinforcement in accordance to the IStructE RC Detailing Manual and Eurocode 2.
