Prince of Wales Pub Conversion, Manchester

DMA have been appointed to provide Structural Design Services for the conversion of a pub to residential apartments in Manchester. The layout of the apartments was significantly different to the pub layout therefore a steel frame was introduced to transfer the masonry walls at first floor.

DMA provided Building Control Calculations for all structural elements and material specifications for this project to be constructed. DMA also undertook the steel connection design for this project on the behalf of the steel fabricator. The Structural Design was undertaken in accordance to the Eurocodes.
